Successful-Artist-Series

Essential learning for your creative practice.

The Successful Artist Series is essential, relevant and affordable Professional Development for Creatives on the business-side of being an Artist. It offers informed and practical solutions that you can embed into your practice right away.

Hosted by Composer and Educator Dr Katy Abbott in a series of online workshops  – each concentrating on one essential topic – offering a unique viewpoint and practical solutions to common challenges faced by artists.

The Successful Artist Series looks more deeply at taboo and neglected topics, one at a time, so you get training in the often less-talked-about topics: capacity, negotiation, difficult conversations, collaborative power dynamics, and how to have conversations about money and more.

To get these important skills for being a successful artist in the industry, register to receive notice of the next Workshop.

These are held periodically throughout the year.

The Successful Artist Series presents The Art of Money for Creatives

– a short online program – to be taken at your own pace.

Covering practical and mindset tools on how to set your rates, communicate your value and how and when to have conversations about fees and money within the arts industry. The Art of Money for Creatives will have a big impact on your long-term career but also be immediately implementable.
See below for more information and enrolment details.
